The old Volvo's habit of leaving a trail of oil might of worked as breadcrumbs on a trail, but was not at all helpful in the water (and a big polluter). Re-power was the answer, with a new Yanmar 30 horse. Removing the old Volvo and replacing it was accomplished by using the mizzen boom (with support from the spreaders) and a block and tackle. Up and over the lifelines she came without putting a hole in the bottom of the boat. Paul Mc Donald (a retired La Grande, Oregon John Deere mechanic) made it all happen. Thanks you so much Paul.
